Flor do Oakley Holy Ghost Festa
Since 1927, Flor do Oakley, has held its annual Festa every third Sunday of July. The Holy Ghost Festa is based on the miracle of Saint Queen Isabel of Portugal, who helped to feed the poor against her husband King Dinis. Her deep faith in the Holy Spirit saved her from her husband and created a miracle where the bread hidden in the folds of her dress turned to flowers when he made her open her dress. In commemoration of this, a Catholic Mass, Parade, and Feast will be held. Admission is free.

There will also be other Portuguese style foods available for sale: linguiça sandwiches, tremoços (lupini beans), sweet breads, and beverages will be served throughout the day.
